Rolling out an enhanced Kudos diaper

Hi Kudos family,

Since launching Kudos 3 years ago, the team and I have been taking your feedback seriously. So seriously, that as we roll, crawl, and step toward a plastic-free, more sustainable future – we’re also rolling out enhancements to our current diaper to help get us there. Everything you love about Kudos -- like our 100% cotton-lining, total chlorine-free (TCF) wood pulp, premium materials, and price -- is staying the same!

Our 4 key diaper upgrades:

  1. You asked to minimize dyes. Within the next few months, only white diapers will be available.
  2. You asked for more accurate sizing. So, we’ve increased the length and width of our diaper, adding a bit more stretch to the waistband.
  3. You asked for Kudos to be even more eco-friendly. So, we’re now using a new, amazingly protective, and soft outer cover with biodegradability enhancers.
  4. You asked for more inventory. More Kudos! So we’re proudly moving all manufacturing to the USA. By relocating here, we’ll have better quality control, and more production runs. 

Personally? I’m so excited about this diaper. I can’t wait for you all to get them, and let us know what you think. These white, made in the USA diapers are also the diapers that will be available at Target.

When to expect these in your subscription and on our website:

As we update our inventory and move manufacturing to the USA, here’s what subscribers can expect over the next few weeks to months:

  • Over the next few weeks to months (depending on your size), you will continue to get the same Kudos diapers you know and love.
  • We will do everything we can to fulfill your preferred print, but during this transition you may get a print you did not select (even if your current preference is white).
  • By the end of the year we expect all subscription boxes to include our enhanced, white diapers. Sizes 5 and 6 will transition more quickly than sizes 1 to 4.
  • Since we’ve slightly increased the length and width of each diaper (to allow for better fit), each bag will have one less diaper. Our monthly diaper box price is remaining the same, and the per diaper cost is only increasing by 1 cent.
  • If the adjusted sizing means you need to size up or down, we’ll still be offering the same free exchanges!

New customers and returning customers who aren't subscribers can expect to gradually see these diapers become available on the Kudos website over the next few months. Sizes 5 and 6 will transition more quickly than sizes 1 to 4. We expect all sizes to be transitioned by the end of the year.

It’s important to note we’re not changing. We’re tweaking to improve. All Kudos diapers will still be lined with 100% U.S. sourced TruCotton lining, use only Total Chlorine Free (TCF) wood pulp, flaunt our award-winning, patent-pending DoubleDry™ tech, and adhere to the toughest safety standards, including OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification, and (we’re proud to share) new Dermatest certification as well. 

We're also, of course, still made without: Lotions, Fragrances, Chlorine, Natural Latex, and Phthalates.

If you notice anything else different about our diapers (like a bit more fabric in places), don’t worry! These are normal adjustments that won’t impact the Kudos quality you know and love.
